Afirma Grupo Inmobiliario’s comprehensive range of property services includes maintaining an active land management policy (acquisition, management and supply of land within deadlines and with an appropriate level of development) either for the subsequent development of its residential or service sector product or for future sale to demonstrate its urban management know-how and diversify its income sources.
In this area Afirma Grupo Inmobiliario acquires or manages land in the medium and long term, achieving high returns from the increase in its value once it has been professionally managed. This includes various phases such as planning, management and development.
Afirma Grupo Inmobiliario has a portfolio of over 8 million m2 of zoned land. It acts as an urban development agent for a total of 14.8 million m2 with over 4.4 million m2 of zoned land for residential, service sector and industrial use.
The land portfolio is split as follows: 88% is for short- and medium-term development while the remaining 12% is long term.
In 2007, income from land activity was €195mn , three times the 2006 figures and representing more than 40% of the Afirma Grupo Inmobiliario’s overall turnover.
